Today...these are my teeny pieces from today. Someday it will be a yoyo quilt. Though 6 in a day is many more then 1! We'll see how this process keeps going! So far I am really enjoying it.
I have begun a new just one project that I am willing to share. I have to get things organized and trimmed down for this major move of my studio. I will need to share space and be better organized. So here are some pictures of the mountain of tee shirts (pajamas and sweat shirts too) that will be someday be tee shirt quilts for each of my children. Here is the mountain, now also remember all that the beginning of May my studio was cleaned out.
Yep, everything from the tan bin up and then this basket and pile on the floor are what is left after I took out a very full basket of things that are now nearly cut. I am also saving big pieces of interesting colors or prints that I can later use with plain tees to repurpose into something amazing! It is my new challenge for myself and my kids! Plain tee shirts that I either paint or applique really cool stuff onto like planes and spiders and stuff!! No fear I have pinned some great ideas on Pinterest!!
This is the basket before cutting
I'll add a post cutting tomorrow. This is a just one again because it will take a while. I am also going to begin working on a very new quilt tomorrow and Friday when I can get the paint samples. It is for my niece who is arriving in January. I will share each step for those of you who don't quilt....but it will be an amazing process.
Now I need to get back into the weaving process! I love it, but there are restrictions when I can actually weave. This is why I have such small goals as to what I want to get done everyday.
So there are my just ones for the day. There was a bit of embroidery and many things that don't fall into this category as they will be redone tomorrow ! Enjoy the sunshiny weather if you have it...and look forward to my just ones from tomorrow!
