Two years

Today I did some figuring...may be I should not have but I did.  I laid out all of the Yoyos I already had made forever ago that live in the Darning basket.  What I found was that I had already made 707 of them.  They are around an inch and a quarter in diameter.

Just a close up

These are the ones I already had.  It makes a square that is 26x27 yoyos.  I figure that I want to end up with a 60x60 throw. So I figure I will need 4800 of these...ok this is the figuring I should NOT have done!  However I have been doing more then the just one that I had planned, so I will get more done then just 180 by the end of May.  I have done 56 so far this fall.  So I figure 50 a month for the 9 months of school...that makes 450.  Add those together and I do not get 4800, so this will be at least a 2 year project...may be more!  I am not too discouraged, I would never get it done if it were not little by little and what would I accomplish in a year (or 2 or 3) if I just sat while I waited for things!  Plus hopefully this will get you all to keep reading just to see the end product!

These are the ones you have not seen in the last few days...including the 3 that I did this afternoon and 2 from this morning.  Because yes we had to be at the stop 10 minutes earlier and then the bus came at the regular time!  SERIOUSLY!!

This is the group that I have done since this journey began...see jut ones add up to something!  What will your just ones add up to today?!

hanical beat, part of a W, part of a g and li are what I have embroidered today.  I still have just over an hour before I will stop for the night.  I need some down time, the I should bes are many....but I am marking things off the list every day this week.  Tomorrow I will walk in a beautiful sunshiny morning!

I am thinking along with my regular just ones I am going to start writing letters again.  There is nothing quite like getting a personal letter in the mail, as I was reminded by one of my college roommates recently.  I need to make that part of my just ones...so watch your mail you might be getting something!

More pictures tomorrow, hopefully some shots done along with the rest!
